I am an Experience and Service Design consultant focused on finding the right questions and designing solutions (and opportunities) that empower people and help them to grow. I adhere to Complexity Thinking and a Human-centered Design approach (to go beyond over simplistic User-centered design). I believe that a deep understanding of the context and conscious influencing systems create valuable change. In projects that influence larger systems (including nature) I am looking for sustainable solutions and go beyond anthropocentric point of view by analyzing needs off all of the stakeholders (including non-human stakeholders).
I am working in the IT industry since 2008. I have graduated master degree in Computer Science in 2011. Since 2016 I am running my own design studio. Before I have been working for 8 years as a Usability consultant, team leader of a UX Design team and a business developer at Future Processing, a leading Polish software company.
I collaborate with international startups, mature organizations as well as with NGOs and public institutions on products and services with various scales - from MVPs to large systems. In my career, I have undertaken many roles and responsibilities - UX / Service designer, Team Leader, Trainer, Project Manager, Product Owner, Quality Assurance, Advisor, Consultant, Researcher, Speaker. I have acquired a unique set of analytic and design competencies.
I am a Computer Science (Master of Science) graduate at the Silesian University of Technology and a Graphic Design (Post Graduate) at the Silesian University.
Since 2010 I share my passion, enthusiasm and doubts about the design by organizing the World Usability Day Silesia ([www.wudsilesia.com]) – an international conference focused on designers' responsibility.
I am also a lecturer on UX Design at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Katowice (Poland).
I was a speaker at UX Poland (www.uxpoland.com), TEDxKatowice, WUD Silesia (www.wudsilesia.com), UX Scotland (www.uxscotland.net), GilbFest, Quality Excites ([www.qualityexcites.com]) and many more.
